There are 2 parts to cbd oils or tinctures; the extract from the flower of the hemp plant (this contains the cannabinoids including CBD) and the carrier oil, or oil used to dilute it. In our case it’s hemp seed oil, not only do we believe it makes sense being the 2 parts of the same plant, hemp seed oil is also rich in essential fatty acids and gamma-linoleic acid.
The hemp has been grown organically in Switzerland which is exempt from EU hemp cultivation laws meaning their plants have been grown specifically for CBD oil giving it an excellent terpene and flavour profile.
For best results drop 1-3 drops under the tongue 1-3 times per day, start low and slow to find what works for you. Hold it under your tongue for as long as possible to maximise absorption. You can also apply it directly to an inflamed or swollen area of the skin and massage in. Alternatively add and stir a couple of drops in to a drink with high fat or lipid content, hot chocolate for example.
